The Ministry of Science and Innovation (MSI) is delighted to be one of the partners behind the Rutherford Innovation Showcase being staged during Rugby World Cup 2011. The Showcase celebrates "kiwi innovation" in the spirit of one of our greatest, Lord Rutherford.
In my new role as MSI's Deputy Chief Executive Business Innovation and Investment, I would like to personally invite you to attend some of the free nationwide events taking place over the next two months.
The Rutherford Innovation Showcase is an opportunity to celebrate innovative New Zealand companies, scientists and students and to examine the opportunities and challenges we face in driving export led economic growth through our innovation eco-system. We will hear from leading international speakers and meet off-shore attendees who are keen to make New Zealand connections.
Of particular interest for us will be the NZ Technology Trade & Investment Forum being held from September 26-27 at the Langham in Auckland. It will be an opportunity for the MSI team to meet with our partners and those involved in New Zealand innovation. For me personally, it is a great chance to meet you, as I want to hear how your business is tracking and what the future holds.
